Hollow Forms

Hollow forms are uniquely turned vessels with various sized openings that have been hollowed out inside. These pieces are extremely difficult to create because they are crafted from a single piece of wood, typically a burl that is not entirely stable - making it even more of a challenge. Mike has mastered the ability to turn hollow forms with evenly thin walls. If a woodturner removes too much wood from the inside walls of the hollow form, they'll pierce clean through and destroy it.
